Affiliate Programs
There are so many affiliate programs out there that going through the setup for every one of them would take forever. Instead you can read through the setup for a couple of the most popular ones, and since most of the setups are exactly the same, it should be fairly easy to become an affiliate on other websites.
DO NOT register for every possible affiliate program you can find. Register for 2-3 and promote only those on your site!

Amazon
Amazon has one of the most popular Affiliate Programs out there for a reason. They're the ones that started the affiliate movement, and they are a well known website so people won't be weary to shop there. Amazon gives you up to a 10% of the cut, but their cookies only last for 24 hours which means if the customer leaves amazon after using your link, comes back a few day later, and buys something you won't get the revenue.
However, they already have one of the best product sorting algorithms out there, so you could put a link to the electronics, or computer parts section and your customers would automatically see the most popular or best-selling items. Sign-Up They have a 4 step sign-up process, but if you already have an Amazon account, then you successfully completed the first step! The second step requires you to enter your website information and the types of content you will show on your website. The third step is a verification step in which Amazon will call a number you enter on the screen and you will have to enter a 4 digit code shown on your computer screen using the phone touch-pad. (For those of you who don't want to speak to a real person, don't worry. This process is fully automated!) After you are done with that, you're technically signed up, but you will still need to enter your tax name and tax-id to be able to receive money from the program. If you're wondering what their widgets look like, I have the daily deals widget set-up to the right. |

iTunes
This might be something you haven't considered. There are numerous websites and blogs out there that review new apps and give links to buy them or check them out, but not all of them get money for those clicks. If you have a popular app review website and you still don't use this program then you're missing out on thousands of paid downloads every time you post a review!
Even if you don't have an app review website, for most websites there are certain apps that could be useful and that's where being an affiliate comes in! You create a simple link and then you get money whenever people download the app at that link!

g2a.com
If you are a proud owner of a game-oriented website, blog, or YouTube/Twitch channel, then it might be a good idea to partner with g2a.com! They have great, hard to beat prices on all the games you can imagine, and their cookies last forever (or well, until someone completely cleans their cookies). So if someone clicks on your link today, but buys something in a month you'll still get the revenue from this purchase AND all of their subsequent purchases.
What does that mean for you? It means you and your fans can pre-order a copy of GTA 5 for the PC for a crazy cheap price. Oh, you mean monetary-gain wise? If you have an audience that buys a lot of games, you can earn $100+ a month and then cash-out with Paypal. It's a very nice boost to your income without much effort.
