The Complete List
Here is a list of all possible ways of making money online.
I've used almost all of these, but some are not as well-tested as others, so if something doesn't work, please contact me and I'll change it right away. If you have any questions after looking through this list, check out the details section for more info, and if you still can't find the answer, send me an email and I'll try to answer it within a couple days! 1. Freelancing
This is probably the first thing people think of when they think of earning money online. Freelancing includes everything from web design to data entry, but this is one of the hardest online industries to get into, but if you are persistent and willing to spend time to learn a new program or brush up on your language skills, you could easily get a good freelance job.
The amount of money you earn through freelancing depends on many factors and the payout can be anywhere from $5 for a small job on fiverr.com to anywhere to $2,500 for building a website on 99designs.com, freelancer.com or other websites.
Check out the Freelancing page to learn more about Freelancing and find out which websites are right for you!

2. Stock photos/3D Models
The difference between this and Freelancing is that here, you're not guaranteed a certain pay even after you are "done" with the job. This is for people who like to take photos, create 3D models, or make the textures for those models.
There are many different stock websites with very different requirements. Some don't ask you for your portfolio and let you upload as many as you want, but there is a lot of trash on there, so it's better to use websites like istockphoto.com or veer.com which have a harsher entry process (You have to upload 3-10 pictures and they check the composition and quality), but the chance of getting discovered on those websites is much higher. You can also take pictures with your phone thanks to apps like Foap(Android/iPhone) or Clashot(Android/iPhone).
If you're a game designer or a 3D model designer who uses Blender, 3D Max, or any other programs the you can post some of your models on websites like turbosquid.com or 3dexport.com. Both of these websites don't require your models to be exclusive to their website, so you can reuse models you have already created and make some extra cash from that.
You can also check out CGtrader.com. They have a jobs section on their site where clients ask for a certain model to be made and you can apply for the job and if the client selects you you can earn a nice amount of money.

3. Youtube
PewDiePie has over 28 million subscribers at the time of writing, and he earns between 2 and 18 million dollars a year. Your channel probably won't be as big as his is, but who knows. Maybe you will be the next YouTube star!
If you have a business, a website, or something you're passionate about, why not make a video about it?
Most of us already have capable smartphones and a camera, and there's great free editing software out there so what are you waiting for? Go out and make your first video!
However, before you go here's a few words of caution. Many people start YouTube channels and plan to earn enough money to sustain themselves within a couple months. Unless you get big on YouTube really fast, and unless you have something VERY different to offer, it'll take a while for your earnings to climb into the hundreds per month. At the beginning it will be around $5-$20 a month, and it will rise exponentially as you get more views and subscribers. It's a very good creative outlet and the little bit of extra spending money is always nice. However, making it on YouTube is hard, so check out my tips on the YouTube page of this website!

4. Streaming/Twitch TV
While YouTube welcomes all types of video creators, websites like Twitch.tv focus specifically on gaming. If your computer is fairly powerful, you enjoy video games, and you don't mind being on camera then maybe Streaming on Twitch is for you!
Twitch will be very slow when you're just starting out. To be able to earn revenue from ads, you need to have at least 500 viewers every time you stream, which usually takes quite a while.
When you're just starting out you would have two ways of making money: through donations from your viewers and through affiliate programs. At the beginning your income might be at $5-$20 dollars a month, but if you stream every day, you will reach those 500 viewers.
When you become a Twitch partner (500 viewers every stream, stream 3 times a week at least) your revenue should already be at least $100 a month if not higher, but the money from ads will make for more consistent monthly earnings. You can control when and how many ads you run every stream, and with 500 viewers, that'd be around 300 ad views every time an ad is run. (2/5 have adblock)
Check out the Twitch page of this website to find out how to start out on Twitch, and how to get more viewers.

5. Blogs/Websites
If you are passionate about a certain subject, then it might be a good idea to create a blog or website about it and monetize using affiliate programs and Google ads. Some people think that if their interests aren't very popular in their friend circle, then they won't be able to find an audience online. There are over 2,900,000,000 people around the world with access to internet. Do you really think that out of all of them you will not find at least a thousand people interested in the same thing as you?
You can even create websites without writing a single piece of code! All you need is a website like Weebly.com or webs.com. Even godaddy.com has their own site builder.
Once you have your website up and running you should sign up for Google Adsense and put ads on your website. You could also become an affiliate of amazon or other websites, and put links to products you think your website's audience would be interested in. When they click on your link and buy something, a certain percentage of the price goes to you!
Go to my Blogs/Websites page to learn more about creating and monetizing a blog or a website.

6. Stock Market
Long term investment is something you should be doing anyway, but short term investments could be a great source of money if you spend an hour a day on it and play your cards right. However, you will need to be patient, learn from the best, and you'll need a starting sum of at least $1,000-$1,500 so this isn't for everyone.
The strategy that you'll be using for earning money is called Penny Stock trading. For more information on it, go to the timothysykes website and check him and his students out on YouTube. It's not necessary to buy his programs because he gives out a lot of great information in his YouTube videos and blog, and if you spend some time looking at his wins and losses (which are public for everyone to see), you will start seeing patterns.
A couple months of studying the system should be enough to start small-time trades and if you succeed in those, move up to bigger trades.

7. Reward Sites
There are numerous reward sites all over the web which pay you for using their search engine, completing surveys or tasks, winning game tournaments against other players and much more. You won't earn a lot from this, but it could be a nice boost in income for 30 minutes a day or less!
The most popular (and my favorite website) is swagbucks.com which gives you points for using their search engine, taking surveys and playing games. If you register using my link, you will receive 150 SB, which means you will only need 300 more to get a $5 Amazon Gift Card!
I don't want to make this too long so Click here to go to the Reward Sites page to find out about other reward websites, and improving your Swagbucks games score!

8. Affiliate Programs
What exactly are Affiliate Programs? You can look at an affiliate program from two different ways. As someone who is trying to sell his own product and needs some exposure, or as someone who wants to get money when people buy other people's products. Since this website is all about online money making, we'll be talking about the second type of a person.
In simple terms, all you have to do is register on a website as an affiliate (Amazon, iTunes, and numerous other websites have that option), and then post links to their items on your blog or website. Simple as that! Then whenever someone buys an item using your link, you will get a certain percentage of the item price.
The amount of money from this depends on many factors: the number of views your website gets, how related the items are to your website, whether your website/affiliate website looks trustworthy. The amount of money can vary between $0-$5,000 per month.
If you want to find out more about different affiliate programs and decide which one is better for you click here.

9. Etsy/Online Sales
Are you an artist? Do you paint, make jewelry, or do you have things lying around you'll never use again, but they could be of use to someone? Then this is a perfect way for you to earn some money!
Etsy is the most popular website on the web to buy handmade art creations like silk scarves, polymer clay necklaces, and many more. If you are an artist and you're not selling your creations on there, then you're missing out on a big chunk of possible income.
If you have items lying around you don't need, you can always use eBay or Craigslist to sell them. If you want to sell your old electronics, my personal favorite is Glyde because it gives you the most money, but you can see what Gazelle offers for your electronic too.
You can make quite a bit of cash by selling all of your old, unused electronics.

10. Online Casinos
This is a legitimate way to earn money online as long as you play at a trusted casino. However, this isn't a recommended way of money earning for obvious reasons.
Before you try online casinos, set a monthly limit for yourself and DO NOT go over the limit. Only play games where the casino doesn't have a huge upper hand over you (preferably Blackjack or maybe Poker). It might also be a good idea to have someone you trust monitor your spending to make sure you don't overspend and don't get addicted.

11. Amazon Mechanical Turk/Surveys
If you're not easily bored by repetitive tasks, you can complete simple Amazon Mechanical Turk tasks and get some money. The tasks range from $30 dollars for transcribing a 2 hour audio, to 5 cents for searching a keyword on Google and pasting the top result into a requested form. Most people go into this with a super excited mindset, but end up burning out and getting bored when they earn 30 cents. However, if you really need any amount of money and don't mind repetitive tasks, you could earn between 5$-15$ an hour while watching TV.
You can check out this Subreddit to find the highest value HITs for today.
There are also various websites out there that pay you for taking surveys. Swagbucks offers surveys as a way to earn SB, but if you want to check out some other websites, go to iPoll or Inbox Dollars. Keep in mind that if you take a lot of surveys in a month and answer truthfully, you will either get disqualified a lot because of the other surveys you took or you will be bored out of your mind. However, if you really need the money, you can earn $3-$6 an hour.

12. Answer Questions
Websites like JustAnswer will pay you for answering questions IF you are an expert in the field. They require you to provide a professional certification stating that you are educated in an area, and you will need to take a test. Needless to say it's fairly hard to get into it, but if you are experienced enough in a certain field, you will be able to earn a fairly nice income.
13. Online Tutoring
Enroll is a website where you can receive and give tutoring aid to other people for a fee. You choose what subjects you are proficient in, your price per hour, and what time you are available for tutoring. You won't earn a crazy amount of money, but if you're proficient in a highly specialized subject, you can set your hourly rate higher and earn some nice cash!

14. Mobile Earning
Depending on how you look at it, this might or might not be a way to earn money online. However, so many people have smartphones or iPods, and there are so many easy earning opportunities to earn money from your phone that not including this section would've been a crime.
From apps like SBTV, Entertainow, Feature Points and more, the number of ways to earn is limitless!

15. Review Music
UPDATE: Because of a high level of reviews submitted, it's nearly impossible to write a review worth more than 15 cents in 90 seconds. Because of this you can only earn between $1-$2 an hour instead of the higher number I had before ($4-$12).
Did you know that you can earn money with websites like Slicethepie by simple listening to music and writing reviews? They require you to listen to at least 90 seconds of the song before rating it and submitting your review, but you can start writing it right as the song starts playing. They pay on a per review basis, with the highest price per review being 30 cents and you can cash out using Paypal.
At this point it's only worth it to do SliceThePie on special occasions when they pay out 14 cents+ no matter what. Even if your review is long and detailed, in many cases you will only get 6 cents per song.

16. Content Writing
If you don't want to create your own website or make YouTube videos, but you always have great ideas and you're knowledgeable on a certain topic, then content writing for websites like HubPages, InfoBarrel or Wizzley might be for you!
What are the advantages of these websites over running your own website? I love bullet points, so here they are:
What are the advantages of these websites over running your own website? I love bullet points, so here they are:
- You don't have to post content consistently (you can post 1 article a month, week, year, or whenever you want)
- Your articles don't have to be related (If you own a website/blog, then your articles have to relate to each other. With websites like these, they can be as abstract as you want, as long as they might be useful to someone out there)
- Free to sign up and start posting (Blog/website creation costs money unless you're posting under a .blospot or .weebly domain, which a good website shouldn't do anyway)
- Easier to rank high on Search Engines (Since you are publishing a post under a Google Trusted website, your articles will appear higher in the search results. This won't make a huge difference if your content is bad, but it could be the difference between the first and second page of Google if your post is fairly popular)
- You can easily monetize with Adsense, Amazon Affiliate, eBay, and more (the monetization process is very simple for Hubpages)
17. Publish A Kindle Book
Have you always dreamt of writing and publishing a book, but didn't know where to start? Now is the perfect time to do so! Publishing a book before eBooks was incredibly hard, but now it's so simple that anyone can self-publish it on Amazon.
The best part? You will make 70% of all sales, you can publish it in 5 minutes, and your book will start selling within 24 hours.
Of course, writing a book isn't an easy task, but it doesn't have to be a 800 page grandiose series. It can be a short 20 or 100 page book on Building A Computer, Getting The Perfect Beach Body or something else you're passionate about. The options are limitless!

18. Domain Flipping
Anyone with a credit card or a Paypal account can buy domains for as cheap as $.99-$1.99 per year, and since some domains can go for as high as $11,000,000 for hotels.com and others, it can be a quite profitable business as well. Obviously, you'd have to be very lucky to snatch a great domain like that for cheap, and then sell it for that much, but it's definitely possible to make a lot of money flipping domains.
Usually this is looked upon as a long-term money-making strategy, but if you buy domains and them pitch them to local companies, you could make some money now.
If you're planning on buying a domain, some of the things to look at are:

19. AltCoin Mining/Trading
Crypto-Currency is becoming more and more popular in the online world. With BitCoin being worth $250, and 1 Megadoge being worth around $100 at the time of writing, it's no surprise that people are becoming interested in this interesting concept.
The days of being able to mine BTC using just your computer are long gone, and now you need to buy dedicated equipment, if you want to make any real money.
However, there's also another way to make money with crypto. There are numerous new coins being created every day, with some of them growing fairly big, and most of them disappearing and losing value quickly.
You can try to mine or buy a new coin that comes out, and then wait and see if it's price goes up. (This is a fairly risky tactic, so use it at your own discretion!)

20. PTC Websites (PaidVerts)
Pay to click websites pay you for clicking on ads. Most of them pay tiny amounts per click ($.001) and thus are not worth your time.
However, PaidVerts is the only PTC website that you can use to make real money with.
In the beginning you start out by clicking on activation ads and receiving BAP, and once you get more BAP you will receive higher value ads (up to $200 ads for 30 seconds of your time). Once you earn $1 with PaidVerts, you can use that dollar to advertise on the website (50 visits to your site) and earn $1.55 worth of BAP points back.
If you keep doing this, you will move up BAP groups and steadily increase your daily income.
If you want to find out more about PaidVerts, you can check out my blog post here!

21. MXWRK
MXWRK is a website that pays you for having Firefox open after you installed one of their toolbars.
According to them, they use the toolbar to "ping" sites for their advertisers and to send you tasks that you can complete.
Without doing tasks you can earn between $.01-$.10 per day, but with doing tasks you can earn up to a dollar.
They pay out daily, and even the smallest amount of money adds up over time!

22. PostLoop Forum Posting
PostLoop is the most famous website that pays you for making posts on forums.
They pay out to PayPal once you reach $5, but since they're the highest paying forum-posting program out there, you need to have near perfect grammar to join their website.
You can find out more about PostLoop in this blog post, but you should know that you can make $.08-$.12 for each post you complete.

23. UserTesting
UserTesting is the highest paying website review site out there.
It requires you to speak near-perfect English, have the ability to speak about what you're doing on the screen and what you like and don't like about the website, and they don't accept everyone into the program.
However, if you do make it, you can make $10 for a 20 minute review, and $3 for a 5 minute review.
You won't get enough reviews to make a living, but if you're at your computer for most of the day, you could have the UserTesting tab open, and you'll get a sound notification whenever there's a 20 second screener test available to see if you qualify for a full 5-20 minute test.
They pay out to your PayPal account exactly 7 days after taking a test. The higher your rating is, the more tests you will get, thus increasing your possibly payout per day.
Check out this post for almost $300 of payment proof for 2015!

24. BTC Gambling
Just like you can gamble using online Casinos, you can also gamble using BTC.
Some sites have a tiny house edge, while others have a huge one, and don't forget that in gambling, the house always wins!
You can check out this page if you're interested in learning more.

You can work on it from nearly anywhere in the world and you can make up to $40 per hour. (My best so far.)
